This high-quality, double-jointed full cheek snaffle with loose cheeks is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings and cheeks. Cuprigan is an alloy of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material produces a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical shape follows the form of the horse's mouth, allowing gentle and even pressure distribution. The combination of the shape and the unique composition of Cuprigan stimulates the chewing process and salivation, which can create a pleasant connection with the sensitive horse's mouth. The bit has a normal effect on the mouth. The mouthpiece is 14 mm thick and the cheeks are 165 mm long.?
A full cheek snaffle can be used with cheek straps. They keep the bit in the right place and have a light leverage effect. The full cheeks prevent the rider from pulling the bit through the mouth and keep the horse easy to steer. This also makes the bit suitable for young horses.?
